This is my media page. I started writing this script so that I could have an easy way to view all of my DVD's, rate them, share them, etc. I know that 3rd party tools like this already exist, but I wanted to host it on my own server, and write the code myself. Eventually you will be able to download fizzMedia 1.51 and install it for yourselves, but I have some more work to do before that happens.

| Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 by fizzle fizzMedia 1.51.2 is now available. New features include: Paging! My Media page will now return 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 results per page, and the results can be sorted by Title, Genre, Year, Rating, or Media Type. Bug fixes include: Homepage rating bug (broken image) when rating set to Unwatched. Comments bug, wasn't working when captcha was not disabled. Bug with <title>$sitename</title> on homepage, $sitename was being defined after the title tag, this returning a null value for $sitename in the title. More updates to come soon! |

New features include: Torrent link on media page, user commenting on media, configuration area in admin panel to set commenting options such as: enable captcha (requires GD Library), moderate comments (approve comments before they appear on the page), email notification of new comments, and to enable or disable comments altogether. fizzMedia 1.51.1 comes with a new installer, or an updater if you already have fizzMedia 1.51 installed. If you are using the updater, your media files will remain in tact, although any changes in the actual code itself will be overwritten. Visit the download section to get the installer or updater today. |
